3mc has been monitoring the situation regarding the coronavirus outbreak along with the advice set out by the UK Department of Health. 3mc is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and as part of our responsibilities under the FCA we have a Business Continuity Plan (BCP) which has been tested and is fit for purpose as and when the need arises.
Within the 3mc Business Continuity Plan there are 3 key areas that we have detailed below which will be applicable to all 3mc customers.
- Over the last 2 weeks we have tested the ability for all 3mc computer equipment to be used remotely by all 3mc team members.
- Over the last 2 weeks we have tested the ability for all 3mc geographic telephone numbers to be answered remotely by the relevant 3mc team member.
- Over the last 2 weeks we have contacted all 3mc suppliers to include lenders to establish their protocols for continuity of business.
From Friday 20th March we have executed our working from home protocol.
3mc will continue to monitor the latest government advice and will review and update our policies and plans in line with this advice including updating our customers as and when required.
All “parked” enquiries and pending cases have now been assessed against the new lending panel (lenders still processing cases up to physical valuation or automated valuation solution). Last week we added Masthaven Bank Residential and BTL products and UTB bridging products to this panel. A member of the 3mc team will be in contact with you directly. The main 3mc telephone number (0161 962 7800) has now been diverted to all 3mc home working team members. If for any reason you are unable to connect then please email info@3-mc.com and a member of the team will call you back. Currently the new phone system has not connected for under 2% of all incoming calls.
For all cases being processed we are working within our standard service level agreements. Please be mindful we are proactively managing all pipelines in accordance with lender instructions in respect of cancelled valuations and lender specific pipeline management. If you are unable to connect via 0161 962 7800 then email info@3-mc.com with the 3mc case reference number and a member of the team will call you back. All 3mc lender onsite underwriters are still processing all 3mc cases albeit remotely.
