British Friendly has launched a new Care Assistance Benefit for all new and existing policies.
Key features include:
§ Covers policyholders whose partner, spouse or child (until age 18) need at least 35 hours per week of full-time care for a continuous period of 4 weeks or more
§ Fixed benefit of £125 per week
§ Benefit can be paid up to 26 weeks (6 months) in total over the duration of the policy
§ No requirement for the policyholder to stop working
§ Discretionary benefit at no extra cost
Care Assistance Benefit is the second inclusive benefit British Friendly has introduced in 2016. In March this year British Friendly also launched a 6 month Death Benefit to all new and existing policyholders.
