We would like to inform you that ahead of the introduction of new underwriting standards for portfolio landlords, from 23rd July we will define a portfolio landlord as a borrower with more than three mortgaged Buy to Lets.
From this date we will allow up to three Buy to Let mortgages and up to one Holiday Let mortgage per customer.
These Buy to Let mortgages must not exceed a total value of £1.5m. This does not include Holiday Let mortgages and your clients residential mortgage.
These changes will be live from Sunday 23rd July.
