We are pleased to announce the next live event in our Workplace Health Insights Live series will take place on Thursday 10 February at 11:00.
The true state of workplace health now has unprecedented focus. As we look beyond the pandemic it is more important than ever organisations recognise the power of prevention to build healthier workplaces.
Over half of the UK’s mortality burden is caused by behavioural risk factors such as smoking, poor diet, alcohol, low physical activity and environmental factors¹. Organisations can play a unique role in their employee’s lives by helping them change behaviours and be in more control of their health. During this session our panel of Bupa experts will discuss how employers can apply behavioural insights to encourage preventative health practises to reduce the risk of chronic disease and build more resilient teams.
Dr Petra Simić, Medical Director, will explore the future of preventative healthcare and the challenge of equipping employees with the right knowledge and skills to be co-creators of their own health. Dr Caroline Wood, Head of Behavioural Insights and Research, will discuss how behavioural change can improve workplace health and wellbeing. Dr Naomi Humber, Head of Mental Wellbeing, will join the panel to explore how employers can help prevent mental health issues to build more resilient workforces.
