Our updated Income Protection product now includes an unemployment payment holiday. If your client is made involuntarily unemployed, their premiums will be paid for up to six months.

Unemployment payment holiday – what’s included?

We will pay your client’s premiums if they’re made involuntarily unemployed
Your client can claim up to a maximum of six months across their whole policy term, which can be taken as multiple claims.

No additional questions, underwriting or processes
A simpler process making us easier to work with

Provides additional security for you and your client

Reduces the likelihood of your client’s policy lapsing

Covers the full LV= Flexible Protection Plan menu premium

If your client has a FPP menu plan with us, including Income Protection, the payment holiday will cover the whole FPP menu plan premium.

Additional information

There is an initial 90 day exclusion period for this benefit. This means if your client becomes involuntarily unemployed within the first 90 days of the policy starting, they cannot claim.
