The Annual General Meeting of The Association of Medical Insurers and Intermediaries took place on Thursday, 2 May 2019. The conference went very well and we heard presentations from the below Keynote’s:

- Ted Townsend, LaingBuisson – the latest statistics from LaingBuisson; his thoughts on what is driving growth in the private healthcare sector; and his views on the opportunities this creates for specialist healthcare intermediaries to tap into this growing sector;
- Carl Laidler, Director of Screening Programmes, Health Shield – Carl highlighted the growing market for Occupational Health Services and how healthcare intermediaries can successfully build a portfolio of SME and mid-sized corporate clients by integrating Occupational Health into their service proposition.
