After a few unprecedented weeks, we wanted to reach out to you all and thank you for your continued support through these challenging times.
Today we are pleased to announce the launch of Vitality at Home, a range of initiatives that provide additional ways for our members to keep active throughout this exceptional time. Vitality at Home will provide free access to home workouts on both Peloton and Dame Jessica Ennis-Hill’s app ‘Jennis’, with members earning points automatically when they workout. We’re also introducing a new and highly relevant Active Reward that gives members up to two movies on demand each week for staying active, through Rakuten TV.
In recognition of how important it is to eat healthily at the moment, we have also made our current healthy food benefit with Waitrose even more attractive with 25% off their Good Health range for a members spend in April, May and June, irrespective of how many points they’ve earned over this period.
We are also mindful that a number of our products are directly linked to a members Vitality Status and we are able to confirm we have taken a number of steps to protect this – read more on this below.
We understand that at the moment it may also be more difficult to write new business. We are mindful of the challenges that currently exist, such as the ability to get medical reports from GPs, especially as we have unfortunately had to take our Vitality Nurses off the road for safety reasons given the latest government advice. We are committed to supporting you and will be working to reinstate the service as soon as it is safe to do so.
On the back of the pandemic we have also made some changes to the deferred periods available on our Income Protection plans, with only those with a three month period and over now available. Deferred periods for existing plans remain the same as they have always been.
Please reach out to your Business Consultant or Account Manager if you have any questions and do stay safe, stay at home and stay active.
