As you will be aware, Insurance Premium Tax (IPT) is increasing from 10% to 12% on 1st June 2017. This will impact the premiums on all of our plans.

Individual PMI Regional Plus and Lifestyle Protector premiums

On the Broker Portal, when you enter a start date of 1st June 2017 or beyond, the calculator will automatically give you a premium inclusive of 12% IPT. Click here to access the Broker Portal.

‘inSpire’ PMI individual premiums

Our existing inSpire PMI plan will be available for start dates of up to 31st May 2017. For policies that need to start from 1st June 2017 onwards, we have a new postcoded version. Full details about this policy will follow in the next few days.

SME PMI (inSpire and Standard) premiums

On our SME PMI calculator, when you enter a start date of 1st June 2017 or beyond, the calculator will automatically give you a premium inclusive of 12% IPT. This change will be live from 2nd May. Click here to access the SME PMI calculator.

Personal Accident and Medical Cash plan premiums

You will find premiums inclusive of 12% IPT for these plans in the updated brochures in our Literature Library. Be sure to use these for plans with start dates of 1st June 2017 or beyond.
