An update on claims, service and our COVID-19 Pledge
We’re moving out of lockdown and, we hope, more settled times for providers of health care and – crucially – the people who need them. Good news for all of us.
Throughout the pandemic, we’ve helped our private medical insurance (PMI) customers to find appropriate support and continued handling claims for the most urgent treatments – including cancer – as well as maintaining services in areas such as mental health and online physio through our BacktoBetter service. We’ve also worked closely with our suppliers to find new ways to offer safe, effective assistance to our customers such as online mental health support. We experienced a 30% increase in claims through our digital channels year-on-year in Q1 of 2021.
