We’re now one brand
In our email to you on 28 April 2017 we detailed the proposals, process and timeline to deliver a single brand. We’re pleased to announce that from 1 October 2017 we are now one brand and the business transfers of Friends Life Limited and Friends Life and Pensions Limited to Aviva Life & Pensions UK Limited are now complete.
What this means for you and your clients
All the policies, assets and liabilities of Friends Life Limited and Friends Life and Pensions Limited have transferred to Aviva Life & Pensions UK Limited
All communications to you and your clients will now come from Aviva
There will be no change to the terms and conditions of your clients’ policies and any guaranteed benefits as a result of the business transfers
Also, there are no changes to the way we service your clients’ policies and you and your clients can still contact us on the same telephone numbers and addresses as before.
What this means for Aviva online services
Some Friends Life adviser websites have now closed and others have moved to the Aviva brand. Servicing of your clients’ policies is moving to Aviva for Advisers. We expect to complete this work over the next few weeks.
If you are not already registered for Aviva for Advisers you will need to do so to continue to access your clients’ policies. You can do this here and simply follow the instructions on screen
You can continue to use the ex-Friends Life XML Contract Enquiry services provided by your Client Relationship Management system as usual for now. We are expecting to move these to the Aviva service in the coming months. We will contact you and your software supplier with further details of this shortly
Some Friends Life customer websites have closed and others have moved to the Aviva brand. We are working hard to add customer policies to our MyAviva platform and we will inform customers when they are able to register for this service.
