We’ve been working hard to enhance our service offering for those looking to switch to Healthier Solutions by improving our processes and giving more clients the chance to join Aviva.

We’re really pleased to announce some of the great changes that are coming soon. These initiatives are the first in a number we have planned to improve our consumer offering and simplify your experience when dealing with us. Stay tuned for further changes in the coming months.

We are making some changes to our switch process for consumer policies taking effect from Monday 11th November.

What we’re doing

  • Giving you greater clarity on our Underwriting Philosophy, meaning you can answer underwriting queries quickly
  • Ability to add exclusions to consumer switchers with current MHD or Continued Moratorium underwriting
  • Reviewing our medical underwriting decisions, building in more flexibility and fairer decisions for prospects
  • Review of Switch Declaration to increase consumer understanding of the heart question and improve our risk assessment
  • Improving the onboarding journey for those with Condition Specific Exclusions, allowing faster policy activation

These should not only improve the application and quoting journey but ultimately helps us to continuously strengthen our service to you. This is just one example of how we’re delivering simplicity to you and your clients.
