Following adviser feedback, Aviva has introduced a number of enhancements to it’s Protection Platform (ALPS), to give The Right Mortgage Network advisers and your clients more flexibility, speed and control when generating quotes and applying for policies online.
The Right Mortgage Company advisers already benefit from an efficient and time saving application process through the ALPS system, which offers multiple products through one journey via Aviva For Advisers, allowing a single product sale and/or multi-benefit product sales. As a result of this feedback the enhancements introduced include:
This provides a broader range of edit options making it easier for you to refine a basket of products to meet your clients’ needs. Advisers can easily compare options such as decreasing or level life insurance and make amendments, such as, changing the life assured on a single plan, or updating the correct date of birth, without the need to cancel everything and start again.
This new option allows advisers to compare the same product with slight variations quickly and easily without the need to start a new quote.
An option to print the client quote illustration at any point in the customer journey.
These enhancements to the quote process will significantly reduce the amount of time required to produce a range of quotes using the ALPS system. This complements the existing self-service functionality on the ALPS platform which includes:
- Fast, intelligent underwriting which delivers decisions for around 8 in 10 customer applications instantly.
- A further 1 in 10 of our customers receive a decision within 48 hours, sometimes following a brief telephone call with one of our Underwriters. This means that overall, around 9 in 10 of our customers receive a decision within 48 hours.
- Advisers also benefit from easy online tracking and management of new and existing business.
