Bupa are offering two months free cover to all new underwritten and moratorium members of Bupa By You Health Insurance (BBY). This offer will be automatically applied to all eligible policies that are quoted between 1st August 2018 and 31st October 2018 inclusive. The months free will be months 11 and 12.
1. Who will receive this offer?
Any eligible members who you enrol onto a new Bupa By You Health Insurance (BBY) policy via the intermediary portal will automatically have this offer applied. This offer only relates to quotes between 1 August 2018 and 31 October 2018 (inclusive) and to new members or members being re-underwritten onto new policies.
2. Which underwriting options does this offer apply to?
This applies to all of the following underwriting options on BBY: Full Medical Underwriting and Moratorium. This is not available for group leaver policies (XGS).
3. How do I apply the 2 months free?
You do not need to do anything. This will automatically be applied to eligible members when you enrol them via the intermediary portal. The 2 free months will be month 11 and 12 of the first year of the member’s cover.
4. Can I choose not to apply the 2 months free?
No. By providing a quote between 1 August 2018 and 31 October 2018 (inclusive), you are accepting the 2 months free cover offer and its terms and conditions, including that the
offer will be applied in months 11 and 12 of the member’s first year of cover.
5. How will the free period be applied?
This will be applied to month 11 and month 12 subscriptions.
6. How will this affect my commission?
Your first year commission is paid on the full annual subscription paid by the member. It will therefore be calculated at 10/12ths of the monthly amount. Please bear in mind that the intermediary portal will still show the annual amount as 12/12ths
