The benefits of a good night’s sleep
In this issue of Your Wellbeing, we focus on the key benefits of getting a good night’s sleep, and how quality sleep is essential for your health and wellbeing. Take a look at the resources we have created to help support business customers. Did you see our latest video? 10 most common symptoms of oral cancer
The pandemic impacted access to dental care drastically in the first lockdown, and as we adjust to the new normal, it’s more important than ever for your customers to keep a check on their oral health. In this video, we cover the 10 most common symptoms of oral cancer that shouldn’t be ignored.
Our dental insurance customers can use the Bupa Dental Care support line for advice from home or they can now use this service to book a face to face appointment if they’re struggling to see their own dentist.
Bupa Dental Care support line
We know some of our dental insurance customers are struggling to access an appointment with their own dentist. Which is why we’ve enhanced the support line to include help in finding an appointment at a Bupa Dental Care practice if customers wish to see a dentist face to face.
Customers can still have a virtual consultation by phone or video for reassurance from home. Customers can call 0333 015 5255 between 9.30am and 5pm Monday to Friday.

The hidden pandemic: An addiction crisis?
As we live and work differently, the definition of wellbeing is shifting and the health needs of employees are evolving. The pandemic has had a significant impact on mental health and increasingly people are turning to potentially addictive coping behaviours which can lead to short and long-term health issues.
Worryingly, stigmas are still preventing many from facing up to mental health issues and seeking help. During this event Mark Allan, Commercial Director Bupa UK Insurance, will invite a panel of experts to discuss the prevalence of addictive coping behaviours and how organisations can ensure the right preventative care and mental health support is in place for employees now and in the future
Plus, we’ll be joined by James Sherwood, Director of Healthcare Management, for an update on hospital capacity and Bupa services.
