Update to Intermediaries on Bupa’s implementation of the Insurance Distribution Directive

On 10 June 2018 Bupa upgraded its internal systems in preparation for the introduction into UK law by 1 July 2018 of the new Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD). IDD will affect all insurers and intermediaries from 1 October 2018.

To comply with the new directive and the new regulatory rules arising from it we have created an Insurance Product Information Document (IPID), for each of Bupa’s consumer/individual sales insurance products.  The IPID document contains a summary of the most important features of each policy.
