With that in mind, we’d like to remind you of My Extra Benefits – our range of enhancements that new and existing Members can add on to their income protection contracts.
My Extra Benefits includes different options for your clients. For £9 a month they can take out Fracture & Hospitalisation Benefit and Immediate Death Benefit as a package. Alternatively, Fracture & Hospitalisation Benefit costs £4 per month – and Immediate Death Benefit costs £5 a month.

Three extra ways to keep your clients protected
Fracture Benefit
Our Fracture benefit provides a £1,000 lump sum if your client suffers a fracture of one of the named bones included in the cover. This benefit is subject to one claim in any 12-month period and limited to one claim per accident/incident regardless of any income protection benefit received.
Hospitalisation Benefit
After three consecutive nights in a hospital as a result of illness or injury, we will provide Hospitalisation Benefit of £50 per night, backdated to the first night’s stay – regardless of any income protection benefit received. This is limited to 21 nights in any 12-month period.
Immediate Death Benefit
Our Immediate Death Benefit is designed to bolster income protection and life insurance policies. In the event of death during working life, we will pay a lump sum of £5,000. This cover will cease on your client’s 70th birthday.
