We are delighted to announce that we have today simplified our documentation requirements for both Residential and Buy to Let Mortgage applications.

With immediate effect, the following changes have been made:

Certification

  • Documents no longer need to be certified.

    For employed applicants:
  • Basic pay only – 1 payslip is now required for monthly paid applicants as evidence of income. If applicants are paid at any other frequency then please refer to our website for full details of requirements.
  • Bank statements – no longer required.

    For self employed applicants:
  • Accounts – only 2 years accounts now need to be submitted (showing 3 years figures)
  • Bank statements – no longer required.

    For contractor applicants:
  • CV – no longer required
  • Bank statements – last 3 months only required for the account into which the contracting income is paid.

    Where your client has Buy to Let Mortgages in the background, we still require AST agreement(s) to verify rental income or the last 3 months bank statements.

    These changes have been implemented following feedback from you and we hope that they make it easier for you to do business with us.
