It follows the journey of Natalie, who took out income protection and critical illness cover when she bought her first home.

Sometime later Natalie started to experience numbness and loss of feeling, and was eventually left temporarily paralysed down one side of her body. Initially it was thought to be a one-off, but after the birth of her first child her symptoms returned. Natalie was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.
