We’ve made some changes to our application process recently. A summary of these improvements are noted below:

  • Launched new 95% LTV mortgages without the assistance of the Government’s Help to Buy: mortgage guarantee scheme.
  • Removal of our £199 Pre-Completion Product Change fee
  • Introduced new freephone 0800 numbers to replace the 0845 and 0870 numbers you previously called us on.
  • Improved the process for identifying and matching existing Santander mortgage customers moving home, it’s now mandatory for you to input the mortgage account number within Introducer Internet > AIP > Personal > Applicant details
  • For residential purchase applications and Buy to Let purchase and remortgage applications, with a free valuation, the valuation will be instructed immediately upon case set up
  • You can now save and print a copy of your client’s mortgage offer as soon as we have issued it via Introducer Internet > My Applications > My Offers.
  • Improved the service we provide your clients for all residential and Buy to Let mortgage applications by providing a text message and/or email update at the three key stages in their application journey.
