Here at Health Assured, improving your mental health is our number one goal. So, we’re over the moon to introduce you to our latest weekly feature—The Mental Health Hour.

Created with you in mind, The Mental Health Hour is a weekly Q&A with a counsellor that will take place on Health Assured’s Instagram page every Thursday at 12 pm.

Our carefully selected topics get determined by the most frequent types of calls and queries we’re currently receiving via our 24/7 counselling helpline. Each week, we’ll pick a different mental health related topic to focus on. The first session will focus on ‘Tackling Low Mood’ with Health Assured counsellor Joanne.

How can I get involved

Our first Q&A will take place on Thursday the 2nd of December. So make sure you head over to Health Assured’s Instagram page @healthassured_ and give us a follow before then.

Our Q&A box for the session will go live on our Instagram story each Wednesday at 9am to allow you 24 hours to submit your questions surrounding the weekly topic. Our counsellors are here to answer any questions you might have, so make sure you get yours in and stay tuned for the answers.

We welcome all your questions on the topics whether it’s ‘how to overcome the issue’, ‘what causes the issue’ or ‘how you can help someone else overcome their struggles’. If you have a question, it’s likely that someone else will too.

At 12pm on Thursday, The Mental Health Hour will begin! The counsellors will be answering all of your questions via our stories. And don’t worry, if you don’t catch the answers in time, we will save each session as a ‘highlight’ that you can view anywhere, anytime.

It’s time to open up the discussion about mental health, get talking to each other and support each other through life’s ups and downs. We hope that The Mental Health Hour will allow you to gain practical, helpful advice from counselling professionals—whether it’s for yourself or to support others around you.
