At LV= we believe everyone should be supported with quality financial protection that pays out when it’s needed most. That’s why our updated Income Protection product now includes fracture cover as standard.

What’s included?

Fracture cover is part of our Income Protection contract – not an ‘optional extra’
Automatically included and client’s don’t have to pay a separate premium
No additional questions, underwriting or processes
A simpler compliance process making us easier to work with
Up to £2,200 lump sum depending on the type of fracture

We’ll pay the highest amount of fracture cover if your client is diagnosed with more than one fracture at the same time. We’ll pay for one fracture diagnosed in any 12 month period

No waiting period

We’ll pay your client as soon as we can – usually within a week of us receiving the relevant medical information

Exclusions

We’re unable to pay the following fracture claims:

  • If the fracture is caused by a specific sport or hobby (see list in policy conditions)
  • If the fracture is classified as a fatigue, stress or hairline fracture
