Today we’ve announced our full year performance for the financial year 2017/18. Attached is an infographic which gives an overview of our performance.

Headlines:

• We’ve delivered the best service satisfaction among our high street peers, and our members and customers trust us highly.
• Our leading service, value and products have helped grow our membership to a record high of 15.5 million members, and we have reached a record of 8.1 million engaged members.
• More people opened a current account with us than with any other brand and we have helped a record number of first time buyers onto the housing ladder.
• Efficiency has been a major focus and we were successful in finding sustainable savings and keeping our costs flat.
• Our underlying profit for the year is £1,022 million, with statutory profit of £977 million, and our measures of financial strength have also improved.
