From March 2022, a new regulation from the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) comes into effect, which means that extra security will be required when making online payments.

What does this mean?

From today, when making a payment during an online application, the cardholder will now be asked to authorise this before it can be processed. Therefore, you must make the cardholder aware that you are making a payment before you do so.

Nothing will change with our online application process, and you can submit an application as normal. The only difference you’ll notice is a message reminding you that you need the cardholders authority to make a payment.
