The Right Mortgage & Protection Network held their largest and most successful bi-annual National Training Event to date on Thursday 17th May, which focused on sales ideas, building relationships and providing good quality advice. The event took place at the National Motorcycle Museum in Solihull, with over 300 attendees and over 60 lender and provider partners in attendance.
Martin Wilson, CEO of the Network, opened the event and touched on the theme of the day ‘sales is not a dirty word’ and shared some of the network’s successes since the start of the year.
The event closed with a moving and inspiring keynote speech from Paralympic Champion, Mark Colbourne MBE who motivated the attendees to embrace change, take action and always give 100%.
Speaking about the day, Martin said: “It was a superb day with an incredible turnout. As a Network we pride ourselves on giving our members a voice and listening to their feedback. We have expanded our offering to our members with the recent news of HSBC, Post Office and Canada Life being added to our panel. The member focused approach that we live and breathe within the network shows in the success of our continued growth and I feel immensely proud of the relationships that we have managed to build over the past three years with our lenders, providers and of course, our members.”
Mark Colbourne MBE, International Speaker and Paralympic Champion, said: “Having reflected on what was an amazing experience at the Network’s National Training Event in Birmingham, it was a true pleasure to share my key messages on vital principles that have elevated me through my career to go from ‘Zero to Hero’. Good luck to everyone who attended the event and remember that The Best Dreams Happen When You’re Awake.”
Jason Neale, Sales Director, Magellan, left the event saying: “Today’s event was a fantastic day for both us as a lender and members of the Network. It’s encouraging to see a network make such a huge effort in helping to educate their members in order to increase profitability and enter new markets.”
Toney Quinn, Strategic Account Manager, Canada Life said: “The day was fantastic, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. It’s great to attend an event with a network who care so much about protecting their customers. Everyone we met was so passionate about working with us to help their customers get the right advice.”
