Based on your feedback about what’s important to you, our five promises demonstrate our dedication to helping intermediaries do business with us as smoothly and efficiently as possible.

We promise to:

  1. Provide a dedicated underwriter for your case, who will always be on hand when you need them.

Having access to underwriters that you can call on (when you need to) is something you tell us is really important. With access to the decision maker either directly or via our Intermediary Support Team, your questions will be answered so you can give your customer a first class service.

  1. Instruct your valuation on day one.

To speed up the process for you and your customers, once we have all the supporting documentation, we promise to continue to instruct valuations the day your mortgage application is submitted. This will make a big difference to the time it takes to send a customer an offer.

  1. Take a common sense approach and assess each case on its own merits.

Our lending decisions are made by people, not computers. Our experienced underwriters will take the time to understand and consider each individual case based on your customers’ needs.

  1. Answer any queries before you submit your case via our Intermediary Support Team.

We realise that you might want to discuss your customers’ cases with an experienced member of our team before you submit the application. Our Intermediary team consists of ex-brokers, senior underwriters and business development managers that are available 9 – 5, Monday to Friday.

  1. Give you 48 hours’ notice before we withdraw a product.

We understand your frustration when a product is suddenly withdrawn, so we promise to give you 48 hours’ notice of product withdrawals by email before we make any changes.
