  • Here are some top tips to help you and your clients receive a quicker mortgage offer!
  • Gifted deposits! We need to know:
    • What is the full name of the person who is providing the gift?
    • What is the relationship?
    • Will the person gifting the money acquire an interest in the property?
    • Does the person gifting the deposit intend to occupy the property?
    • Does the person gifting the deposit intent to protect their gift in some way (e.g by registering a second charge)?
  • Don’t forget!
    • You need to tell us where the full deposit is coming from e.g if your clients are selling a property and the equity amount doesn’t cover the full deposit, please tell us where the rest of the deposit will come from
  • Capital raising?
    • Always tell us the reason for capital raising
