Here’s a reminder of some of the recent Buy to Let improvements we’ve made for you and your clients

  • We offer a flexible approach to our affordability:
    • 50% affordability rate for 5 year fixed rates
    • 125% cover for remortgages without capital raising under transitional arrangements for all income tax bands
    • 130% cover where at least one applicant’s income tax band is 20% or less
    • 145% cover if all applicants’ income tax bands are 40% or 45%
  • Lower minimum income of £25,000 for all applications
  • All income types now accepted (except rental income)
  • We’ve increased the number of acceptable tenants on one tenancy agreement to four tenants
  • Plus we’ve increased the maximum tenancy term for an Assured Shorthold Tenancy (or equivalent) to 36 months
  • Our Buy to Let calculator quickly tells you how much your client could borrow and whether the property is self-financing
