When it comes to discussing protection with clients, it can be challenging to explain complex policies and definitions. Clients are looking for clarity, simplicity and reassurance. That’s why we’ve simplified our Critical Illness definitions to offer our most comprehensive cover yet.

By simplifying our definitions we’re focussing on what matters most to you and your clients. Some of the  changes we have made are:

  • Reduction in overall number of definitions from 49 to 40 whilst significantly improving the scope of our cover
  • Combined 16 of our main conditions into 5. For example, we previously had 6 separate heart surgery definitions, but these now all fall under 1 definition
  • Our 30 main conditions are now grouped under 5 categories: Cancer, Heart & Arteries, Brain & Neurological, Organs and Senses

Five new conditions have been added across our main and additional conditions including heart failure and eye stroke.
