SUPPORTING THE MACMILLAN COFFEE MORNING
As part of our ongoing and valuable partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support, we are delighted to be supporting their Coffee Morning today. Each year, the event raises vital funds to support cancer patients and their families – at Scottish Widows, our colleagues are proudly baking and taking part for this important cause.

Macmillan Cancer Support and Scottish Widows have been working together since 2017 to support customers living with cancer and in 2018, that extended to our Protection Health Claims team with our customer referral process.

To date, approximately 1,000 protection customers have been referred by us to Macmillan. Collectively, these customers are £380k better off financially thanks to Macmillan’s guidance team who specialise in assessing patients’ eligibility for government grants and benefits.
