How to sell GI products with LV= GI
It’s only a few weeks now until the transition from L&G GI is complete and you can start selling General Insurance products from LV= GI on 21 February 2022. We’re really excited for you to start this journey with us and we want to make it as simple and easy as possible to do business with LV= GI.
| How to get started on day one |
| 1. We’ve built a new GI for Intermediaries Portal; this will replace the current GI Connect system. The Portal will give you access to our SmartQuote technology which lets you get a Home insurance quote in just 5 simple questions. You’ll also be able to quote for Landlord insurance and retrieve all quotes via our new Portal. |
| 2. Please look out for an activation email from us, the email will be sent to you on the 21 February 2022. The email will be sent from ‘LV= GI for Intermediaries Portal’ and the title of the email will be ‘Welcome to the LV= GI for Intermediaries Portal’. This email is important as you’ll need it to log onto our Portal for the first time. You’ll have 7 days to activate your account upon receipt of the email, if over 7 days, you can still activate your account by using the link in the email. Once on the page just click on “forgot password”. Note your username will be your email address. We’d suggest you use Google Chrome for this. | | 3. Should you need it, your agency number will be displayed in the top-right hand corner of the portal homepage when you log-in. | | 4. It’s as simple as that! | | The above will be to access LV= GI for Intermediaries portal, some advisers will also be able to access our Home Gold and Platinum products directly via your integrated CRM/Portal, please contact your network for further support on this. |
