Did you know that as many as one in five Brits get anxious about a visit to the dentist?1 It can be daunting for a number of reasons like:

  • fear of pain
  • negative past experience
  • or just simply the financial stress.

We found a solution that may help. As of 1st April 2020 any new or renewing clients will have access to a 24-hour coping with dental anxiety helpline. Available with our Lucent and Wellbeing dental plans.

The helpline, accessed via the Smile Centre, will offer counselling sessions and can support employees with dental related anxiety, worry or stress. Oral health is closely linked to overall health and by supporting people to manage their anxiety or stress, it will have a positive impact on their mental and oral wellbeing.

What’s new with Lucent?
We’ve increased the benefit entitlements across all levels. This helps with the rising costs of NHS dental charges.

What’s new with Wellbeing?
Introducing a brand new level, Elevate, to offer a higher entitlement to cope with private dentistry costs.
