A summary of the key criteria for our new JBSP proposition is detailed below:
- Available across all residential products
- Maximum 2 borrowers/1 occupant#
- Parent (or other family member) can assist son/daughter – or son/daughter could assist parent/older relative
- Affordability calculation must cover household costs x two properties plus any additional mortgage/rental commitments
- Borrower not listed on title deeds must take independent legal advice as part of this transaction.
- Age of oldest borrower determines mortgage term
- If lending into retirement, loan capped at 75% LTV
