A summary of the key criteria for our new JBSP proposition is detailed below:

  • Available across all residential products
  • Maximum 2 borrowers/1 occupant#
  • Parent (or other family member) can assist son/daughter – or son/daughter could assist parent/older relative
  • Affordability calculation must cover household costs x two properties plus any additional mortgage/rental commitments
  • Borrower not listed on title deeds must take independent legal advice as part of this transaction.
  • Age of oldest borrower determines mortgage term
  • If lending into retirement, loan capped at 75% LTV

#Applications with additional occupants may be considered on a case by case basis.
