Our serious illness cover claim stats
- 425 claims were paid out – that’s 92% of all claims accepted
- £14.4m was paid out across 12 body system categories – including cancer, major organ transplant and traumatic brain injury
- Over 40% of Serious Illness Claims were for those aged 40 or younger – highlighting the importance of being protected from a young age
