Each year we strive to evolve the Vitality Programme so that we can bring to life our shared-value approach to insurance by delivering more value to our members, whilst also benefiting advisers as well as us, the insurer, thereby creating a healthier society overall.

That’s why we’re bringing real personalisation to the Vitality Programme and introducing new partners and enhancements in 2022, to give our members more ways to get active, with more Active Rewards.

Next Best Action is our new approach which uses our data science capabilities and expertise in understanding individual health risks, to provide members with the one action that would have the biggest impact on their future health. The new initiative works by:

  • Predictingthe most important action that is likely to have the most significant improvement on an individuals’ health and long-term health span
  • Recommendinga personalised journey with tailored support through newly created pathways
  • Incentivisingthem to take action, through added Vitality points and Status Boosts.

New partners and enhancements – launching in 2022.

  1. Supercharging our gym benefit: The introduction of PureGym and the enhancement of our partnership with Nuffield Health gives members access to over 450 gyms across the UK.
  2. Work out at home with Peloton: As an alternative to our gym benefit, members will soon be able to get up to 40% cashback on a Peloton Bike, Bike+ or Tread over 36 months – depending on the number of Peloton workout days they record on a monthly basis.1
  3. More rewarding. More choice: Through Active Rewards, members can earn a weekly Mindful Chef voucher of up to £10. Also, they can choose an Innocent smoothie instead of a handcrafted drink at Caffè Nero.

Members must purchase a Peloton device via Member Zone. One Peloton benefit available per family per lifetime of the plan.
