Legal & General’s  “State of the Nation’s SMEs”  report highlights the need to raise awareness of the risks many business owners face and how financial advisers can help to get business assured.

The ongoing study analyses the size, shape and make up of SMEs in the UK and highlights the risks faced by small business owners. One of the biggest finding in the report was that for those SMEs who had taken out protection, 89% did so because they were advised to do so, demonstrating the real need for professional financial advice in this market.
