From 1st June 2018 we are making changes to our Regional Plus and inSpire Private Medical Insurance new
business premiums. This will impact both individual and SME plans. Please note that renewal premiums will not be affected.
What is changing and why
Every year we review our new business premiums. We do this for a number of reasons – but chiefly to ensure we are aligned to the market and to take into account the changing cost of claims.
On our Regional Plus Private Medical Insurance plan the majority of premiums will be unchanged, although some premiums will be increasing by up to 15%, and some decreasing by 10%.
On our inSpire Private Medical Insurance plan there are more wide spread changes – both ups and downs. But overall we believe it will continue to offer great value in today’s market.

Important dates
From 1st June 2018 all quotes from our Broker Portal will be on the new rates. Where you have obtained a quote on the current rates (these will be available up to 31st May from our Broker Portal), these will be honoured for 30 days from the quote date, with a latest start date of 30th June 2018.
