As you may be aware, Virgin Active recently announced they will be selling 35 of their clubs to Nuffield Health. The transaction is expected to take place in the third quarter of 2016.

Vitality are committed to our members’ ongoing health and wellbeing and reducing the barriers to getting healthy. We have worked with both Virgin Active and Nuffield Health for a number of years and have a strong relationship with both parties. As a result we have agreed that there will be no change for existing Vitality members and any Vitality members joining the affected clubs prior to the transition.

Nuffield Health and Vitality would like to reassure you that if your client is a member of one of the clubs affected, they don’t have to do anything and their discount and Vitality points will continue as normal when the sale completes and ownership transfers across to Nuffield Health.
