Protection Update 3rd September 2021

Hope you are well.  I’m currently on my holiday but that doesn’t mean you don’t get a protection update from me!

Connected to this week’s protection update is not one, but two brand new protection insight podcasts and one of these is something I’ve wanted to do for a long time.

If you joined me at any of the Trusts made Simple workshops over the last few weeks, you’ll remember last part where we looked at the letter of wishes.

For me, this is the biggest trick our industry misses; even when we do write protection policies into Trust.  The podcast is simply called ‘Writing a letter of Wishes’ and you don’t need to press anything; it will play in just a second.

It’s completely generic and it will work alongside any protection policy you write into any discretionary trust with any provider.

That can be online or it can be a paper deed; it doesn’t matter and it’s appropriate for both.
