5 year fixed rates now starting from 1.82%
Last week we were delighted to win Best Service from a Mortgage Provider at the annual Moneyfacts Awards. We are proud of the service we offer to intermediaries, along with our wide range of products. From tomorrow, Thursday 15 June, we will make amendments to selected residential and BTL fixed and tracker rates. Exclusive products for Virgin Money Credit Card customers will also be amended in line with our core range.
Summary of changes
Exclusive Range
- 2 Year Fixed Rate at 50% LTV will be reduced to 1.19% with a £1,995 fee (minimum loan size £300,000)
Core Range
Selected fixed and tracker rates will be reduced, including:
- 2 Year Fixed Rate at 65% LTV will be reduced to 1.28% with a £995 fee
- 2 Year Fixed Rate at 80% LTV will be reduced to 1.44% with a £995 fee
- 2 Year Fixed Rate at 85% LTV will be reduced to 1.52% with a £995 fee
- 5 Year Fixed Rate at 65% LTV will be reduced to 1.82% with a £995 fee
Selected 5 Year Fixed Rate BTL products with a £995 fee will be reduced, including:
- 5 Year Fixed Rate at 70% LTV will be reduced to 2.94%
- 5 Year Fixed Rate at 75% LTV will be reduced to 2.99%
As communicated on Tuesday, we will also make changes to the following Fixed Rate Fee Saver products:
- 2 Year Fixed Rate at 95% LTV will move from 4.14% to 4.29% with £300 cashback
- 3 Year Fixed Rate at 95% LTV will move from 4.19% to 4.34% with £300 cashback
End dates will remain at 1 October of the relevant year.

- To request a KFI – please call our Intermediary Relationship Support team on 0345 600 1516*. The KFI will be issued to you within 72 hours.
- To complete a decision in principle – please call our Intermediary Relationship Support team on 0345 600 1516* and we will complete the decision in principle over the phone.
- To submit a full application – complete the Existing Customer application form. You can find this on our website. Once completed, please send this to Virgin Money, Jubilee House, Gosforth, Newcastle upon Tyne NE3 4PL.
