Principality Building Society’s intermediaries division has made a key appointment to its business development team as part of its ambitious growth plans.

Eloise Hall has joined Principality as a field based business development manager for the Yorkshire and Humber area, with a previous five years’ experience at Leeds Building Society.

Eloise’s role will be fundamental to supporting brokers within Yorkshire and Humber, handling individual application scenarios and ensuring that brokers have a successful experience working with Principality. She will also be responsible for building Principality’s intermediaries brand within her region.

Speaking of her appointment, Eloise said: “Principality’s continued expansion and commitment to the intermediary mortgage market makes it an exciting time to join the team.  My key priority will be to ensure we start building strong relationships with our brokers while working hard to raise awareness of our service proposition”.

As part of a driven growth plan across all areas of the intermediaries arm of Principality, two key promotions were also made within the desk-based team. Steven Bond, a senior mortgage underwriter, and Phillip Summers, a mortgage advisor, have been promoted to telephony based business development managers. Both Steven and Phillip will work within Principality’s head office in Cardiff, joining a team of seven to support its broker network.

Principality Building Society’s Head of Regulatory Sales, Shaun Middleton, said: “Thanks to a focused growth strategy, our intermediaries arm is expanding, allowing us to target key markets across the UK and deliver quality service to brokers from our desk based team. Eloise’s appointment and Steven and Phillip’s promotions mean we are adding experience and talent to our team to help implement this growth strategy. We’re looking forward to working together and seeing them develop in their roles.”
