Strengthening Support for Advisers in the Specialist Lending Market
The Right Mortgage & Protection Network (TRM) has announced the appointment of Drew Wilson as its new Specialist Lending Development Manager, further strengthening the network’s commitment to supporting advisers operating within the specialist lending sector.
In his new role, Drew will report directly to Victoria Clark, Head of Lending, and will work closely with TRM member firms and advisers across the specialist lending market. His focus will be on helping advisers find solutions for clients whose circumstances require lending options beyond mainstream mortgage products.
Returning to The Right Mortgage Network
Drew returns to TRM after previously spending four years with the network as National Account Manager, a position he held between October 2020 and October 2024. During that time, he worked closely with member firms on recruitment, onboarding, compliance, product diversification, and business development initiatives.
With more than five years of experience across mortgage and protection roles and having achieved his CeMAP qualification in 2023, Drew brings extensive industry knowledge and a strong understanding of adviser requirements.
Most recently, he worked as Ancillary Sales Executive at Crystal Specialist Finance, where he supported clients throughout their case journey and helped identify alternative finance solutions tailored to their circumstances.
Supporting Continued Growth in Specialist Lending
TRM stated that the appointment reflects the continued growth and development of its specialist lending proposition, with the network investing in additional expertise and dedicated adviser support to help maintain momentum in this increasingly important area of the market.
As the lending landscape becomes more complex, advisers are increasingly supporting clients whose circumstances do not fit traditional lending criteria. The addition of a dedicated Specialist Lending Development Manager is intended to ensure advisers have access to the knowledge, guidance, and support needed to deliver positive outcomes for these clients.
