Small businesses to get access to 24/7 virtual GP service

After rolling out Babylon to its corporate customers in June of this year, Bupa has announced that the virtual GP and artificial intelligence (AI) clinical triage service will be available to existing and new SME members as of 1 January.

Also available to the families of employees, the Babylon offer includes unlimited GP consultations (call or video) available 24/7, 365 days a year; health information for all ages; prescription writing and delivery service; open referrals via Bupa member services and the technology can be synced with wearables. They can also use Babylon Digital Health to gain GP referral, meaning they would not have to contact their NHS GP and wait for an appointment.

‘Babylon Digital Healthcare is the app that offers 24/7 rapid health advice with online video GP consultations via your phone or other digital devices.’

Babylon is available WEF 1st January 2019 for all SME clients that renew or take up cover after this date.
