Making it easier to switch

At General and Medical we try to make it easy as possible for customers to switch. That’s why we removed the need to complete a declaration for those clients looking to move on their fully medically underwritten policy. We do not ask any questions regarding anything previous in the last 12 months or anything planned but merely have (what we are told the best way to describe is) a 5 year fixed moratorium period for pre-existing conditions relating to Heart, Cancer, Psychiatric and Orthopaedic Joint. We will continue the policy with its current exclusions but not look to add any further exclusions for minor treatment or check-ups.
