Keystone Property Finance launches new green mortgages incentivising landlords to make properties more energy efficient

Keystone have launched a brand new range of Green Mortgages that reward landlords who make their homes more energy efficient. The new range offers a reduction on their core range of 0.15%, the range is available to landlords with properties 5 years or older and with an EPC rating of A-C.

The new Green Range rates start from 3.04% for a two-year fixed rate, and 3.19% for a five-year fixed rate. The range is available for purchase and remortgages on all properties including HMOs and multi-units (maximum loan size £1m). Keystone are also reducing rates on it’s core range which now starts at 3.19%.

The lender have also made some changes to their lending criteria, now accepting HMOs up to 10 beds (previously up to 8), and will now advance up to £3m to any one landlord (previously up to £2m).
