No one likes an uncertain future, especially when it comes to money. Brokers have been telling us that the recent stamp duty and tax rule changes have made landlords worried about where the BTL market is heading. So, they’re looking for a mortgage product which gives flexibility if they need it.

We’ve listened and created 4 new two-year tracker products with no early repayment charges.  They’re designed for landlords who want to either purchase a Buy to Let property or remortgage part of their existing portfolio without the headache of being tied in for the product period.

The new ERC free tracker deals are available up to 75% LTV and feature competitive rates starting from 2.69%. To help keep down costs for landlords the products also come with a free standard valuation, paid legal service (for remortgages) and a low product fee of £300.

The flexibility of these products is not limited to the initial two year period either; just like the rest of our 2 and 3 year deals, after the initial tracker rate ends, the new range also comes with a 1.75% discount off our SVR (currently 5.79%) until year 5. That gives clients the breathing space at the end of their product deal to consider their options: sell their property, remortgage, remain on our discounted SVR or choose one of our attractive existing borrower products.

And what’s more, we give brokers direct access to our underwriters. The underwriter will call the broker as soon as they’ve assessed their case. They stick with the broker through the whole process. The broker deals with the decision maker, so no hand offs and a faster service.
