This year’s Virtual National Training Event, had been given the theme ‘Broker Vision: Navigating Business Through Changing Times’, and aimed to help their advisers through showcasing how brokers, lender and provider partners are currently navigating business and even provided a unique brokers eye view on the challenges and opportunities presented by 2020 with the attendance of some of the network’s top brokers to panels.

For their general insurance panel they were joined by Brian Coulton (Paymentshield), Lee Denton (Source), Sarah Watts (Legal and General) and network broker Craig Scott (Frog Financial).

The private medical insurance panel will include speakers from Karl Hewstone (Vitality), Cheryl Hayes (The Exeter), and Wayne Jackson (Protectus Healthcare).

Alongside the impressive panels, the event also included numerous virtual exhibition stands from a range of sectors from mortgages to later life lending that can still be accessed after the event has wrapped up, and has even offered a catch-up option which gives advisers the opportunity to access content from the virtual event at any point.

“We’re so pleased at the turnout to our first virtual national training event, and the ability of our team to put together an event of such a large scale online. The success of this year’s event reflects the hard work of so many people, including our headline sponsors, our in-house teams, and, of course, would have been nothing without the attendance of our members who we continue to work with through the ups and downs of 2020.

We’re grateful for the sheer amount of fantastic feedback we have received from members and our lender partners, and are excited to see how the information provided throughout this year’s event will further strengthen the businesses of our members and adviser firms.

I’d also like to say a huge well done to all our winners and runners up at our awards ceremony, who have continued to grow even with the challenges of 2020.

I know I speak on behalf of myself and the team when I say that we look forward to bringing the same energy to our end of year events, as well as into 2021.”
