In addition to our popular RedArc services included with Scottish Widows Protect, to support your clients at this difficult time we have added GP Services and free delivery of repeat prescriptions. They’re available in our partner Square Health’s mobile app called Clinic in a Pocket™ which will be provided to all new policy holders, at no extra cost.
Clinic in a Pocket™
Clinic in a Pocket™ makes it easy for your clients and their immediate families to get UK GP appointments 24/7 within an average of 4 hours. The Clinic in a Pocket™ mobile app allows customers the opportunity to access the service when it’s convenient for them. There is also a range of other benefits, including:
- Unlimited appointments, each within a 15 minute slot.
- Consultations can complement NHS treatment and customers can upload photos before the appointment to discuss a diagnosis.
- The user can retrieve their consultation records to share with their own GP.
- If face-to-face specialist referrals or electronic ‘fit notes’ are needed, these can be made by the GP at a cost of £15.
- Prescriptions can be issued at no extra charge. Overall cost will vary with the medicine.
- A repeat prescription service* will not necessitate another consultation unless clinically appropriate.
Once their policy is fully active your clients will receive access to the Square Health mobile app and their Scottish Widows Protect registration details in their welcome pack. If they need any help with the app, registration, or GP services their welcome pack explains how they can get that support from Square Health.
Scottish Widows Care provides Clinic in a Pocket™ GP and repeat prescription services by Square Health, at no extra cost. The services can be amended, replaced or withdrawn at any time.
