All individual switch business with selected Out-patient Cover, we will offer an out-patient booster which automatically upgrades those on lower out-patient limits to either £1,000 or £1,500 depending on their original limit.
Unlike many of our competitors, our members also benefit from the fact that any excess will not be deducted from these limits, meaning that out-patient funding goes further.
HOSPITAL LISTS AND TREATMENT PATHS
With VitalityHealth, all members will have access to Consultant Select – giving them peace of mind by putting their treatment path in the hands of leading consultants, based strictly on their medical needs. We also recognise that flexible access to the most comprehensive lists of hospitals is important for certain members.
Therefore, we will now be including guaranteed access to Countrywide Plus for all London-based Bupa and AXA clients when they switch to Vitality. Bupa and AXA clients outside of London will be matched to the Countrywide list. Aviva Extended list clients (London only) will similarly always be matched to Countrywide Plus, while for other insurers we will match cover to their current list and postcode in keeping with our guarantee to match or improve cover.
