The health insurer most commended by consultants

Although WPA may not be the most well-known brand in the insurance market, we are a specialist health insurer with origins tracing back to 1901.

Populus, a member of the British Polling Council and a leading market research company, recently conducted a survey of consultants in private practice. This wholly independent survey returned some fabulous results for WPA:

• 62% (two-thirds) of consultants surveyed would commend WPA, more than double Aviva, BUPA and Vitality and triple Axa.

• Two out of three consultants state that WPA allows them to exercise clinical judgement and freedom, the highest proportion of all insurer.

• More than a third of consultants rank WPA as having the best comprehension of clinical matters, double BUPA’s score.

• WPA is rated by consultants as the most approachable and responsive insurer, as well as the easiest to deal with.
