It has been a month since our last update and this month we are pleased to advice you of some changes to our switch terms that have been introduced.

As from the 01st of April we have amended the terms for Individuals and groups that choose to switch to General & Medical Healthcare on either a Continued Moratorium or Continued Personal Medical Exclusion (CPME) basis. No switch declaration is required, however, the following terms will apply to all policies:

If your cover is subject to Continued Moratorium (Continued Mori) or Continued Personal Medical Exclusions (CPME) underwriting either as an individual or a group, certain treatments are excluded from your transfer of cover for a minimum period of 36 months where you have had any condition, including in remission, in the 60 months prior to the start of your cover with us which would require any of these treatments after the start of your cover with us, heart surgery (including by-pass surgery), cancer care or treatment, psychiatric care or treatment, joint replacement or revision surgery. In addition, benefit, care or treatment which relate to pregnancy, or complications of pregnancy (including private delivery), are excluded from your transfer of cover for a minimum period of 12 months.
